Abstract
Purpose. To formulate recommendations on methods of determining the amount of state support of mono cities development. Methods. The author analyzed the existing practice of state support allocation to mono cities of Russia. He also identified typical basic factors for getting state support for mono cities development. Result. Analysis of the existing determining factors for allocation of state support to mono cities showed absence of the methods for providing such support. Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty is to provide recommendations on developing methods of evaluation of social-economic situation of mono cities in order to identify the necessary amount of their support.
