The article discusses the main problems of modern society associated with the municipal government in the sphere of active life of the older generation. Object: the elderly contingent of Muscovites. Subject: reforming the social time of retirees. Purpose: analyze, from a historical perspective, the social time of the generation born in 1938-1963. The modern period is characterized by the fact that municipal government invades the social time of people, revolutionizing all existing canons in the stereotypes of behavior of the older age group of the population. A special role in reforming the social time of the older generation is assigned to the management structure of the Integrated Centers for Social Services of the Population (CCPSA). Of scientific interest is a group of Moscow residents who were born in the period 1938-1963. This is the part of society that is currently already included in the category of pensioners and can actively participate in the Moscow Longevity Program of the city. The municipal program is aimed at mitigating the socio-psychological climate and allows you to adapt this generation of its citizens to constructive socio-economic changes in society. A new approach is proposed for considering the Moscow Longevity Pilot Project as one of the links in the ongoing policy of social modernization of the country.
