Abstract

Purpose: on the basis of studying the state of publicity in the activities of municipal bodies of external financial control, to propose a set of measures aimed at ensuring an acceptable level of publicity of their work. Methods: system analysis, general scientific methods.. Results : on the basis of the analysis of the activities of the municipal bodies of external financial control to implement the principle of publicity of activities, the reasons that determined the current level of publicity were revealed, and results were obtained that would suggest the corresponding set of measures aimed at raising the level of publicity Scientific novelty is to investigate the reasons for the non-observance of the principle of publicity by municipal bodies of external financial control, to identify the factors that generate and support these causes, to propose a set of measures aimed at increasing the level of publicity.
