SOCIO-ECONOMIC ROLE OF PROJECT FINANCING IN THE DEVRLOPMENT OF MUNICIPALITIES

Abstract

Object. The search for additional forms of financing investment activities is an important problem of the Russian economy in General and municipalities in particular. The author comes to the conclusion that the implementation of investment projects with use of mechanisms of project financing is the most effective form of investment that allows you to solve many issues of social and economic development of municipal formations. Purpose. The aim of this work is to determine the socio-economic role of project Finance on economic development of municipalities. Methodology. In this study, using qualitative methods, a comparative analysis of the term "project financing" and other forms of investment, the analysis of the definition of the contribution of the project financing of the project in socio-economic development of municipalities. Results. The result of this work is to determine the theoretical foundations of project Finance, its key principles and features. Define the result of project financing of the project in socio-economic development of municipalities. The results obtained will be needed to address socio-economic issues of municipalities through the implementation of large-scale investment projects. Conclusions. Defined industries in which projects are successfully implemented with the use of project financing mechanisms and their role in the socio-economic development of municipalities.
