STATE OF AFFAIRS AND PERSPECTIVES OF AN INCREASE IN NOVOSIBIRSK'S INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS

Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to study the factors of Novosibirsk’s investment attractiveness and to substan-tiate contemporary mechanisms of an increase in it Methods. An analysis of the process of accomplishing investment projects is presented, namely in regards to com-missioning (as of 2014) and realization (as of 2015) Novosibirsk’s major investment projects. Results. A forecast of Novosibirsk’s 2016 key socio-economic indicators is made. The project “City’s image as a fac-tor of investment attractiveness management” is developed on the basis of conducted analysis and results of forecasting. The article has determined that Novosibirsk city authorities’ main goal is to create optimal climate for the business ven-tures of large and medium investors. Scientific novelty. The article has identified regularities in the city’s image influence over its investment attractiveness.
