SOME TRENDS OF ARCHITECTURAL-PLANNING URBAN RECONFIGURATION IN THE POST SOVIET KAZAKHSTAN (IN A CASE OF ASTANA CITY)

Abstract

Objectives. The aim of the article is to investigate the urban reconfiguration of Astana city in social-ecological aspect by the spatial interpreting the social processes in the city. Methods. It is analyzed the dynamic of quantitative and qualitative changes, which was occurred in Astana city from 60-th of the ХХ century, with emphasis on the post soviet history of city development. Is organized the differentiated and complex social estimation of city on base of questionnaire questioning the population territory, with revealing the some problems of built environment quality. Results. Conducted studies were enable the scientific analysis for the Astana city architectural-planning urban recon-figuration in social-ecological aspect, and creating the preconditions for making design decisions in the frames of city master plans directed not only on achievement of the main purpose shaping the modern image of Astana city, but also for the conversions it in eco city, convenient to citizens. Scientific novelty. For the first time were used the results of wide scale sociological study for analysis the architec-tural-planning urban reconfigurations of Astana city in post soviet period and is organized the social estimation of city territory.
