Abstract

Purpose. Studying the experience of project management of complex social projects at the municipal level. Development of proposals for improving project management processes. Methods. The study is based on statistical methods and techniques of systems analysis. The authors conducted a study of the results of the municipal social projects in the city of Nizhny Tagil. Results. The analysis of the implementation of the municipal social projects in the city of Nizhny Tagil in 2013. Identified organizational and economic problems facing the city administration in the implementation of projects. Proposals for improving the management of social projects are given. Scientific novelty. Developed recommendations for the development of project management in the municipal authorities.
